Knee pain is one of the most common problems our patients bring to us in Madurai, followed closely by back and neck pain. It can start gradually or after an injury, but when it lingers, it interferes with walking, sitting, climbing stairs, even daily routines. Many people try painkillers, home remedies, or rest, but the relief doesn’t last. At Shanthi Priya Physiotherapy Clinic, we begin with a proper diagnosis to understand the root cause. With the right treatment plan and exercises, we not only relieve your pain but also help prevent it from coming back.
You don’t have to keep putting up with pain — the right physiotherapy can bring real and lasting relief.
Sports are part of daily life in Madurai, but injuries can keep you off the field longer than expected. Whether it’s a sprained ankle from football, shoulder pain from badminton, or a cricket-related knee injury, these problems don’t just cause physical pain — they affect your confidence and routine. Our sports injury rehabilitation programs are designed to heal your injury properly, restore strength, and rebuild confidence, so you can return to the activities you enjoy without fear of relapse.
Don’t let an injury keep you off the field — proper rehab helps you return to the game with confidence.
For many families, visiting a clinic regularly is not easy. Elderly patients after a stroke, people recovering from surgery, or those with mobility challenges often need care at home. That’s why Shanthi Priya offers professional home physiotherapy in Madurai, bringing expert treatment and guidance right to your doorstep. Since 2017, more than 10,000 patients have trusted us, not only at our clinic but also through personalised care at home. With proper diagnosis, patient education, and compassionate treatment, recovery becomes possible wherever you are.
Even at home, you can take the right steps toward recovery — expert physiotherapy can come to you.
Thanks!
I worked with Mr. Vinod a senior physician in identifying issues with my lower back and shoulder (results of sport injuries) and Ms. Thara was very helpful in charting out the treatment plan and ensuring that I adhere to the plan.
Definitely, this is my recommendation for pain management and treatment to folks in and around Madurai.
I'm glad to report my overwhelmingly great experience from September 2022 to March 2023 at the ShanthiPriya physiotherapy facility in Namma Madurai. My most recent and longest neuro-physiotherapy training was incredibly helpful in regaining my capacity to walk normally after I became paraplegic in April 2021.
The facilities offer electrotherapy/sand bags for pain relief and are furnished with every piece of exercise gear conceivable (Power Gym, Terra-Core, treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical training machines, swiss balls, weights, etc.), as well as superb staff.
I was able to walk and restore my ability to do my daily tasks after several months of constant physiotherapy along with pain treatment, by alternating between aerobic and strength exercise.
I heartily advice “ShanthiPriya Physiotherapy Clinic” for anyone experiencing discomfort to get the necessary physiotherapy training or even fitness training for their health and wellbeing.
Finally, I want to express my gratitude for my trainer Shyamala Priyadarshini, one of the top physiotherapists on the team. She consistently pushed me and treated me with great professionalism. Additionally, I want to thank Senpya for organizing my treatment and performing my initial exam. Finally, I appreciate Vinodh Antony for assessing my progress and establishing short-term functional goals. I also want to extend my thanks to Tharaka Varshini and the other physiotherapists who coached me briefly.
Note: I personally have already recommended five of my family members, and they have all benefited.
All the best!
